You know, there is great fun in being able to write blogs for Scrapbook Your Life! I can write whatever I want and post whatever photos I want.....and Susan can't stop me! LOLOL!!!
She is going to just have a fit when she sees this photo I'm posting.......
but I love it! She had just finished a "self-portrait" and I think it looks exactly like her - all smiles!!!
Do you ever just want to laugh until you cry? Sort of good for the soul when that happens, huh? Well, Susan is the person I go to when I want that kind of non-stop giggling. It doesn't matter how bad my day might be, she can definitely put a smile on my face every time!!!
OK, seriously - Susan has been crafting all her life. She's had such a life, too, living in Spain....then close to Washington DC....now Boulder, Colorado, and her parents live in San Diego...just down the street from the store! She discovered stamping and papercrafting about 1995 and was hooked! (Like we don't know that feeling???) She's been teaching rubber stamping and papercraft classes for the past 10 years. She loves to pass on her passion for art to new students. In fact...that's just how I met Susan - in a class!!!
I'd have to say her real love is interactive cards. She continues to amaze and inspire me to be a better artist. She has been on the Design Team for B Line Designs (a rubber stamp company) for the past 5 years. She's done design work for Stampers Anonymous, and has been published in numerous papercrafting magazines, including The Stamper's Sampler, RubberstampMadness, Craft 'N Things, and in a Lark Publication book titled "Fifty Nifty Beaded Cards".
I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed in Susan's classes. Ok - she makes me look so bad - she precuts everything!!! Alright - I'm precutting everything this trip as well - I couldn't let her "one-up" me! LOL! So come spend National Scrapbook Day at Scrapbook Your Life! Take both of Susan's classes and then watch the demos that I'll be doing all day long. It's sure to be a fun-filled day with tons and tons of giggling going on!
Hey Kristal....Liz!!! Do you think you have enough chocolate for the day???
See you all soon!
JLo

Hello Susan,
I have been trying to locate you for a while...and finally found this site. I live in Canada and I am madly in love with B-line stamps...but they are not sold here. I saw in Stampers Sampler that you moved to Boulder, Colorado. My daughter married an American and now lives in Denver, CO. Is there a store in the area where she could go and buy some B-line stamps for me and mail them to me?? Any help or advice you have would be most appreciated. I do not understand how come such BEAUTIFUL STAMPS are not sold here in Canada. Also...any advice on wood vs. cling stamps? I am a wood stamp lover and having a hard time switching over. In your vast experience, would you say wood stamps have more value...can be passed down to children and grand-children?? Thank you, Susan. You are extremely talented. I love your work.
